Third Party Risk Management Fundamentals is a training course that introduces the fundamentals of third party risk management (TPRM). This training is designed for individuals with limited or no third party risk experience. The course will provide an overview of key third party risk concepts, program components, and processes involved in minimizing risk in third party relationships.

• Gain foundational knowledge of terminology and drivers for third party risk within each phase of the vendor lifecycle.
• Learn the core structures of a third party risk management program and how organizations define sufficient due diligence to mitigate third party risk.
• Gain conceptual understanding of the basics of risk control objectives, risk statements, and types of controls that impact how third party risk is evaluated.
• Understand the components involved in managing assessment results including processes for risk analysis, findings recommendations, and reporting results to management.

This self-paced training is comprised of 4 sections. Each section ends with a short quiz that must be completed before moving on to the next section. The approximate duration of this training is 4 hours. Upon completion you’ll receive 4 CPEs and a Certificate of Completion.
